“I can, if I choose, be bold enough to face the future; instead of only worrying about the past.”
The amnesia patient, also known as Z, is the writer of the journals of The Forgotten Age Trilogy. He has lost his memory, but when strange visions and dreams start to take him into the unbelievable world, he wants to believe every experience could be alive and real, to restore his lost identity.
The hours are long when he goes to sit in the garden of the hospital, to sit among the lavender blooms. Day by day he tries to remember who he is, writing in the dream journals given to him by Doctor John Peters.
As time goes on, the patient begins to discover more ad more about himself and his past. Some things are best kept hidden... or are they?
